Description

8D series power connectors are designed to meet the harshest military requirements where high power and shielding are needed. The MIL-DTL-38999 series III shell style ensures a self-locking system in order to avoid disconnection even under high vibration.  

Using different contact sizes and platings, 8D power connectors can reach up to 850 A at 40°C. 8D high power connectors provide a superior contact technology equipped with a silver-plated “crown” that guarantees a solution with excellence endurance, low contact resistance and no micro-disconnects under vibration.

Available in 5 high-end materials and 5 platings, our 8D power connectors can withstand all of the corrosion, shock, endurance or firewall capability you will encounter. The patented self-locking system and the metallic retention clip technology make the product perfect for high vibration applications or rough handling on the field.

8D power connectors offer concrete RoHS alternative to cadmium. We have more than 10 years of experience in producing Zn Ni with continuous improvements to comply with military and aerospace harsh environment conditions. Our Zn Ni connectors are the first one to be qualified by US Defense standards organization (DLA Land and Maritime). It provides the most cost effective solution for a cadmium alternative finish.
